Something Worth Fighting For

(Loosely inspired by the story of Hosea & Gomer)

Karalee “Kream” Stokes isn’t the type of woman you find in a church pew. She’s the kind of woman people whisper about—beautiful, broken, and bound to a man who’s as dangerous as he is controlling. Deacon Ross Davis knows better. But when God tells him to love her anyway, Ross risks everything—his reputation, his house, even his celibacy—to bring her home.
But healing ain’t holy oil and hallelujahs. Especially not when you’re running from shame, trauma, and secrets the church ain’t ready to hear.

As Karalee tries to rebuild her life and earn back custody of the child she never got to raise, her faith is tested, her marriage pushed to the brink, and her past comes back in ways she never expected. When forgiveness feels like a foreign language and justice starts looking like revenge, Karalee will have to decide: is she done fighting… or is this just the beginning?
Told with raw honesty, unshakable faith, and real street heat, Something Worth Fighting Foris a soul-wrenching journey of love, redemption, and the war between who you were and who God is calling you to be.

♥ Here what other readers are saying about this book ♥

This was a well put together story. Each character represented something that could change a life. Yes, forgiveness is powerful!

I read this book in one day. Ross was a true man of God and showed what God's unconditional love looked like in the flesh. Kara Lee endured a lot but she was able to see God's unconditionall love through others. The other characters represented the world , enemy and religious without relationship with God. I hope that there is another book by this author using these characters
