Hey, Book Bae! I’m Heaven J. Fox, the author who can’t help but stir the pot and sprinkle a little Bible in the tea.

If you’re looking for stories that keep it real, make you feel, and refuse to sugarcoat the struggle, you’re in the right place. I write messy, moving, and sometimes a little bit petty stories about Black life, love, and healing with plenty of plot twists, a side of faith, and a whole lot of heart.

But I’m not just an author. I’m a wife of 20+ years, 7 kids, and "Maw-Maw" to a growing number of Grandkids! I'm also a homemaker, content creator, crafter, and lifelong Bible student. I love talking about Jesus, vibing with my kids, crocheting, and helping people see beauty in the struggle. My life is full of the same realness, chaos, and hope that you’ll find in my books.

My goal? To make a difference in people’s lives, keep it all the way 100, and (let’s be honest) build a better life for me and my family. I believe stories have the power to heal, teach, and entertain. And if I can help somebody feel seen or just give you a reason to turn the page instead of doomscrolling—I’m doing my job.
